A Modern Approach to Accomplishing Investment Projects in the Power Industry
Energetyka 2004, no. 9, p. 491
(Bulletin of the ZPBE Energopomiar p. 41), 2 refs.
Coming out from the authors' definition of investment project conception, there is presented a factual scope of problems accompanying the proper preparation and run of the investment. The presentation arise from the authors' own experience and practical knowledge on great investments.
The paper is an introduction to detailed continuation of the theme in few following numbers of the Energopomiar Bulletin.

Investigations on the Implementation of the New Amine Preparation for Medium Correction in the Water - Steam Cycle of the Power Unit in the Połaniec Power Station
Energetyka 2004, no. 9, p. 493
(Bulletin of the ZPBE Energopomiar p. 43), 1 tab., 6 figs, 1 refs.
The paper continues a presentation of investigation works in the field of thermostable alkyloamines with branched structure as a base for new preparations for medium correction in water - steam cycles (Energetyka 2004, no. 2, p. 114) and presents run and results of investigations on usability of Kotamina Plus and Plus/P in the technical scale of a great power unit. Considered are effects achieved during correction of the cycle medium with the aid of these correction agents and there is proved that effectiveness of its action is better than effectiveness of agents used up-to-date.

Thermal and Flow Conditions of the Steam Generator and Steam Superheaters at the Boiler Start-up and Shut-down on the Example of the Test Results of the OP-230 Boiler
Energetyka 2004, no. 9, p. 497
(Bulletin of the ZPBE Energopomiar p. 47), 1 tab., 3 figs, 5 refs.
Discussed are factors influencing the operation of the pressurised part of the boiler in the conditions of the transient operation. Presented are tests of chosen boiler during it start-up and shut-down and disturbances tied with the equipment switching-over. Analysed are results and given are conclusions, among others the run of dependence of the pressure in the drum and steam flow defining a range of secure operation.

Mineral Oils Used In Transformers in the Light of Actual Requirements and Needs
Energetyka 2004, no. 9, p. 502
(Bulletin of the ZPBE Energopomiar p. 52), 3 tabs, 4 figs, 10 refs.
Characterised are mineral oils together with contemporary requirements for transformer oils. Discussed are operational problems and ageing oils used in domestic power industry. Discussed are also care actions in the case of oils during the transformer operation - removing from oil arisen contamination.

Information Management in the Case of Event Recording Systems in Power Objects
Energetyka 2004, no. 9, p. 506
(Bulletin of the ZPBE Energopomiar p. 56), 2 refs.
Compared are features of two signalling systems: traditional one and based on the event sequence. Mentioned are problems of information redundancy arisen from using computer control systems and microprocessor systems.
Discussed are problems of division of needs and distribution of information on events and possibility of it use in the superordinated systems.
