Torsional Moment Acting on Turbosets during Accidents in a Power System
Energetyka 2003, No. 1, p. 29, (Bulletin of the Instytut Energetyki, p. 5), fig. 2, 2 tabs, 14 refs
Vibrations and torsional stresses caused by electric disturbances in the power system are kept under control already. As a menace for turboset shafts there is a sub-synchronic resonance, which can occur in the power systems equipped with equipment for serial compensation.
